Will you help us to help the Salvo’s this Christmas?
It's fair to say that 2022 has been a tough year for many people with the rising cost of living and interest rate increases, and currently, no sign of this slowing down, at least in the short to medium term.
Each year at Sound Life, we choose a local charity organisation to gift to, in the lead-up to Christmas. With the support and generosity of our clients and the Great Southern community, these fundraising efforts have made a difference, no matter how small, to the lives of many families and young people.
This year, we would love your support to help the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal!
According to the Salvo's:
"It has been another difficult year for communities across Australia. And as Christmas approaches – it is becoming increasingly clear that many Australians are going to struggle to have even a modest celebration.
We all know Christmas is a time for joy. But for those doing it tough – it is often challenging, heartbreaking and isolating. Last Christmas, The Salvation Army provided around over 64,000 hampers as well as 26,000 gifts to individuals and families in need. As cost of living increases continue to impact communities across the country, your support is more important now than ever. By collecting and donating food or gifts, you can help us make sure we leave no one in need this festive season.
Despite our own personal circumstances and the challenges many may be facing, what is increasingly evident and heartwarming are the acts of genuine kindness that we see and hear on a daily basis from our regional communities.
Small gestures bring big smiles, proving again and again that simple and selfless acts of kindness can go a long way.
If you would like to help us to make Christmas a little brighter for many living among us who may be doing it tough, please consider either our food drive or gift drive, or both!

We have a collection box in our Sound Life office at 106 Stirling Terrace Albany, which is open Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. Donations must be received by early December to ensure the Salvo's Christmas Elves have time to work their magic and distribute hampers in time for Christmas!
On behalf of our Sound Life team, thank you for taking the time to read this in consideration of supporting The Salvation Army, Albany this Christmas.
