Albany has been home to me for twelve years, during which time I changed careers into the world of financial planning. Prior to this, I lived in Ongerup/Borden where I balanced raising a family, nursing, and farming. I do believe that social connectedness (away from a screen), is important for building strong communities. I aim to help our clients feel comfortable when discussing their financial future and to empower them to help get results.

I’m excited to be part of the next chapter for Sound Life as we expand into Perth while being closer to our rural clients in the Wheatbelt and Southwest. I’ve moved back to Perth, the catalyst being what’s most important to Jemma and me - friends and family. The greatest satisfaction financial planning gives me, is being able to help clients live a life that gives them confidence and purpose.

On the weekends you can find me, coaching and playing footy down at the mighty Cottesloe Roosters, and if there’s an opportunity, it’s getting away in the camper.

I embarked on my financial planning career in 2018 whilst undertaking my degree. Over the years, I’ve gained expertise working across various financial planning practices in Perth, and I am now excited to bring my experience to Sound Life in Albany.

My approach to financial planning is centered around empowering clients through education, goal setting and simplifying their financial matters. My goal is to help others navigate their finances efficiently so they can focus on what truly matters to them.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing footy, hiking with my dog, and experimenting with new recipes.

I have been part of the Sound Life Team since May 2014 providing financial account management services for the day-to-day running of the business. My working background and qualifications are in Accounting with a focus on small business account management and budgeting. My husband and I have been living in Albany for over 25 years, our two children have grown up in Albany and have now moved to Perth to complete Uni studies and commence their chosen careers. This brings home validation to the services provided by Sound Life as my husband and I move into a new chapter of our lives, where we have more time to achieve our goals, and plan for our future adventures and our eventual transition to retirement.
